Im not allowed to purchase MAX GUI !!

I tried to purchase MAX GUI and the bank rejected my telegraphic money transfer becuase they dont handle amounts like that!

I tried emailing BRL and no reponse, So I guess Im not allowed to have MAX GUI (If anybody here offers to send me $$$money$$$ you will get my immediate response rather than block you by not answering my emails).

Its a real shame when you buy this BRL car you need to buy the wheels seperately becuase now im "stuffed", no MAX GUI for me.....

How can I get it? im only a few hundred km's from BRL but I have to bounce the money round the globe.

all I can say is DOH! what do I do scrap BMAX? becuase it aint worth a peanut to me without MAX GUI

It seems my only option is to pay double for MAX GUI so the bank accepts the funds, since BRL dont help so far, maybe they will...........

Stupid bank sucks, I will have to pay double just to get MAX GUI one option im willing to take if no other solution exists.

If you pay doulble Im sure that means you would be in credit with BRL, but anyway just ask someone to pay by card, and then give them the money

Although I'm not entirely clear what you were emailing them about. You wanted to know about alternate payment methods?

four days of silence, If I email share-it etc, I get at least an automated response notifing me that they will respond as soon as they can!

1. Go another bank and try.

2. Get a Credit Card or ask for a friend with CC to help.

I have had to put my project on hold till I sort this one.

I've said it before, and I guess I'm going to say it again. I'm surprised that they still only have one payment processor. ShareIt are expensive, not very helpful ( to the customer, not the developer ) and they're not the easiest people to pay. Since it all comes down to access to this site anyway, I don't know why a simple PayPal option couldn't be added at least. ( Whether or not a PayPal option would help you, I can't say, but I suspect it would help in general. )


Well fair enough then. I won't say I've never kept anyone waiting four days, in case there is someone who can prove me wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'd lost the sale after that time. Still, emails can and do go missing. I've been losing them on a regular basis just lately, from multiple accounts.

I suggest phoning them and explaining the problem. Better yet, visit them and explain.

Personally, I don't like middlemen like Paypal, etc...

I bought bmx from Germany and had no problems at all.
Simple bank transfer. Also I don't have a Credit Card or PayPal account. PayPal is insecure as they got hacked multiple times as News stated.

I bought BMAX by the very same process, even did telegraphic funds transfer at same branch.

I dont know anyone with a credit card far less someone that wants to send there card details across the net.

You dont need to know anyone very well. Just standup in the bank and ask in a loud voice. (Or better an internet cafe), as long as you had the money on you someone would be willing to do it there and then, (it you giving them details, not them giving you any)

In fact you can post me the money (joke), and Ill do it for you. (Thou if you live in NZ, find someone else here who does and Postal Order them the money)

Also, MaxGUI isnt the only GUI for Bmax, (and dont be fooled into thinking its a realy good GUI, cos its not). MaxGui, is the weakest product in the BRL range. Its is really a Bplus product tagged onto Bmax.

(Dont get me wrong I bought it, its just that I could have used HighGui or Iglass

H&K; please don't mix a graphical "in-game" GUI and a system GUI, like MaxGUI.. they are two different things..

Just in case my malicous visitor tried to use a mates PC I also blocked all of australia!

If you didnt see the date (top right of page) then you have been redirected without your knowledge to a false download page.

The blocking code doesnt tell you that your blocked.

the block is to stop a malicous visitor downloading from my site, this guy has been trashing me and visiting my site upto 4 times a day without fail for the last month.

I know this because I have PHP code monitoring things , also this is invisible to visitors.

I can see the date fine, but I can't see a link to your forum. Not to worry anyway. Best to keep your visitor out until he tires of playing games.

I only put the picture up an hour or two ago

pictures are on my ISP sever which is 24 hours ,I was logged on with my FTP at the same time.

BRL do not and will not be handling payments in any form for the foreseeable future - dealing with overseas currency is frankly just too much hassle. It's even possible here in NZ (and probably elsewhere) to lose money if an overseas check bounces AND the exchange rate changes while the transaction was being processed!

I do find it odd though that Visa etc haven't gone to more lengths to support online payments. Visa has sort of become the default international transaction method, yet it's still a PITA to get one. I reckon an online-only, debit-only version of Visa for <18 year olds would solve many online transaction issues quite nicely.

Many banks have just this thing, here in the states anyway. Any debit card with a visa logo should work, so check out the local banks.

In the UK they have Visa Debit cards. Anyone 16 & over can apply for one, if they have a bank account.

In the UK they also have debit solo/Maestro cards that its illeagal for the bank to refuse to give to anyone over 16

When they changed the benifit laws in ~ 2003 they made it ileagal for anyone to be refused all cards, so any Bank is leagaly obbliged to provide at min a solo debit card. Even if you fail all the other card criteria, (They dont tell you this tho), but if after you fail the others you then say "But I need one", the have to give you one

Well I never, I had a poxy basic bank account with Halifax (No Visa/Solo or nowt), and I kept getting asked at the cashier if I would like an upgrade... Anyway, I said okay one day (Because I wanted to buy a few things online), and thou and behold, they wouldnt give me one! I did have crap debt, but paid it all off. Anyhow, I tried 3 or 4 times to upgrade because they told me to 'come back next month', which I did, with no avail!

Then, when I started up my business, I asked for a business account instead, and I was (yet again) met with the phrase 'Sorry, come back next month'.

Peeved off, I trumped into Lloyds TSB, and lo and behold, I got a business account (with payment card), Visa Debit card (Like amon mentioned) and a credit card (which I havent used, thankfully), also, I'm moving mortgage in December to Lloyds, and they are knocking just over ONE HUNDRED POUNDS off my current monthly payments! Amazing!!!

Now, I never really mucked Halifax about, maybe missed the odd Direct Debit (But who doesnt), but I paid my £30 charge. The thing that knarks me is that I opened that account when I was 16, which was 12 years ago!

Obviously loyalty doesnt count for much, and all I wanted was to buy a few things online, where's the trouble in that?

The best thing (I've learned), is don't stick with the 'same old same' when it comes to money. They know if you cannot be arsed to move your finance elsewhere, they can take the piss!

Westpac used to do one then stopped issuing them for some reason. No other banks every have or plan to. It's odd, I would personally much prefer a debit card but can't even get one - the best I can do is an 'auto-repaying' credit card.

Man, dejavue - I could swear this exact conversation happened months ago. But on to the point, more then likely VISA doesn't see any profit (or enough profit) in the debit card approach. But if the banks in NZ don't have the option then that really stinks.
