Fat Game Characters

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Fat Game Characters

Hi,

Bit of an odd request, I haven't really played many 2D fighter games and those I have played were played a long time ago! Are there any fat characters in these games? If so could you name as many as you can think of?

Thanks!
Matthew

Eddie Honda ( SF )

Also Bear Hugger ( Super Punch Out )

Blanca, maybe? ( SF again )

Wan Fu (Samurai Showdown)
Earthquake (Samurai Showdown)

I'm a fat game programmer. Does that help?

who's the fat guy in a diaper that swings the ball and chain around in that one fighting game?

Do you mean this guy?

Or perhaps you mean that guy on King Of Fighters.

There were some fat Guys in Final Fight and Streets Of Rage. Can't remember their names though.

Yah, the G.Oriber guys from final fight...

I always use to think that the Abobo guys from Double Dragon were fat...but in actuallity, they're just really desiel.

If anyone remembers the Data East's boss character of Karnov from the "Bad Dudes" arcade game, he actually had his own game.

Thanks for all your help, these will come in handy!

Don't forget the last boss of the Punisher, he is very fat (and big)

I own the arcade to this game, yippee. Happy days!

Hmmm, Enay, I notice that the final two frames of that game which display "THE END" have the twin towers of the World Trade Center in them. Almost prophetic, huh?

The green sumo wrestler of Bruce Lee! ;)

I can't say I noticed tbh, but you can hardly blame Capcom or any company for using a pre 21st century fact as imagery.

And another one sent from da big boss.

I mean, it's even called FATMAN! :)

lol...that game has tons of different names! One version of it is called "Tongue of the Fat Man" and the Sega Genesis version is called "Blood Sport". All the same game...and its one of the earliest pvp fighter games.
