portals

I've been looking at different portal options lately. Do you guys have any ideas about a portal that is good for publishing puzzle games (ie: it has an established audience of puzzle game players)? Any & all ideas appreciated..thanks :)!

Portals aren't an either/or situation, and they rarely publish. Pick all the ones you think look worth the trouble and approach them all.

Well, I've noticed that they're selective :-). Do you or anyone in general have any recommendations (ie I might not know of some)?

They're selective. Some more than others, but yes, they all have their likes and dislikes and they can surprise you sometimes. All the more reason to just go for all that you can, in my opinion. There's always the argument that it dilutes your own sales, and potentially the value of your own site, but since you're apparently already past that argument, I'd say just go for as many as you can.

If it's just a ( fairly ) exhaustive list you want, then I would suggest the IndieGamer forums.

You'll find opinions on the various portals, and then I would suggest taking a look at the portal to see whether you have a game that fits with them.
