That's just stupid. People who think PCs are 'sexy' need to be dragged into the streets, and shot in the back of the head...

A PC is, and should always be a box contains computer components. A sexy PC is what a console is. (Without the bloat) :)
Oh well, at least Intel are using their time constructively.

Technology is not sexy, women are (well some anyway). Technology is just fun/useful/crap etc. hmm sounds a bit like women...

Seriously, I have always been beholden to the pricniple that FORM follows function... IN the tech world... the BOX follows the system board (until the modders took over!) and now???

I don't care what it looks like, I just want it to work!

In some respects, yes. It's visually a very nice system.

...But its design absolutely stinks when it comes to upgradability, near-impossible to open for repairs, and its use of sub-standard 2.5" laptop harddrives rather than the standard 3.5" which are faster, have larger capacities and higher reliability.

When you value form over function, then yes -- the Mac Mini is perfect indeed.
