Is a really good Clone of Lord of Midnight. (I did find it before Garion Posted the link, but only just, cos I was "Graphics Hunting")

Unless the boards think LOM in Bmax would be worth it. (Ive looked at the IceTower board, and it is LOM, even down to the linked lists)

So, unless persuaded otherwise by really really good arguments about it Im going to program a K240 type game.



Questions.

Has anyone played "Fragile allience" on the PC. (For those who dont know its apparently a souped up version of K240, Its available from abandonware sites, but I cannot get it to work)
If you have played it and K240, could you post in what ways they are different?
Also, can ppl please post in what ways K240 (or FA) could have been made better.

Its not going to be a "Clone" of K240, just more comparible to K240 than anything else.

How do you know Im not doing a 'Star Trek, The Next Generation' game? All I said was it would be comparible to K240, it could be a rush by all the Star Trek races to mine the newly dicoverd "TriLithium" deposites in a subspace pocket full of "planetoids"?

All "Star Trek" means is that the races all have backstories, and you have to pay paramount loads of money.

I loved K240, well Fragile Alliegance anyway.
That game had great music, gonna listen to it right now infact.. Hell I'm gonna pop it in and play it too! Dammmn you!

I started a K240 style game years ago in AmiBlitz. I might resurrect it one day, like this thread. ;)

I played it all night last night. Darn those green plant alien things, they blew up my asteroid that had all my ore on it!
