First off, let me say how incredibly grateful I will be if anyone is able to help me with this. I'm guessing this is a problem with my computer, not the games, so you probably don't need to have played them to know what the problem is. I know it may be hard to understand what I'm about to describe, but here it goes anyway..
I recently re-bought 2 old favorites; Army Men II and Army Men World War. I installed them on my two computers. One computer (my main one that I'm using right now) has a good graphics card (ATI x800 XT PCI Express). The other one doesn't have a graphics card at all - it just runs off some internal 64mb built-in graphics adapter. Both computers have the latest Directx installed and run on Windows XP.
My computer (the good/new one) runs both games like crap. When I try to scrolls across the map with the mini-map, it lags terribly. I have to use my mouse to move and navigate instead. It's worse for World War. Not only do I have the same "mini-map lag" problem, but a bunch of graphical glitches. In the first level, there are tons of these random black squares spread across the map. In fact, most of the map is covered up because of these squares. Ignoring this, I tried to load up some MP maps to test out also. Not only do some of the big maps lag a lot for me, but random blue water tiles are spread out just like the first map in Singleplayer (only this time blue). Note that this isn't in all MP maps, just some.
I doubt this is a problem with the games, since my old computer can run it fine and uses the same OS. Any ideas?
