Is it possible to update windows on a PC that is not connected to the internet?

Few ways to do that:

Is it possible to update Windows at all?
(MS Office went and broke itself, so the update won't install. *Sigh* I love this thing).

Good link, though. It's a lot easier than I was afraid it might be.

Can't this computer get any sort of Internet connection?
It makes sense to not be connected, but to not have any possibility to connect available could cause you many a problem these days.
I suggest a wlan card so that you can still use public wireless access points ( surprising how many there are ;) ) if needed.

I mainly use my PC for Cubase,Blitz3D and BlitzMax.

In order to give Cubase as latency free an enviroment to run in as possible I decided to have a drive with just these applications on it.

No modem drivers are installed on this drive so no anti virus/spyware scanners or anything else needs to run in the background that might cause latency in Cubase.

I must say how pleasing it is to boot with this drive, it is so much faster and I can get my work done with fewer interruptions...shuts down in just 5 seconds too =)

I would still like to update windows on the drive though...will look at mustangs link thanks.
