Seems it was a bit of a sneaky move by half of the community - almost like I wasn't supposed to know about it.

When I check this thread tomorrow, I expect at least 50 people to have joined or else you are all jolly-well in for a good ticking off.

Technically only one joined because you told them to. I joined because I meant to join when Orca posted it before, and forgot to :P

Mmm, chess - I can play that - I could join a chess club.

It would be interesting if I joined a club of some sort (ie where you go there in person) to see if people actually stopped going from after I join.

Maybe they just leave because you smell of sausages and bacon all the time. :)

That's not going to happen. It was started by coders for coders, so it will become what the members want it to be.

Anyway, join if you think it'll be useful to you, don't if you don't. :)

Well, although the required number of new members was not what I requested from the community - 20 is acceptable. 63 members is a sizeable amount, but let's take it up to the 100 mark.

You have to bare in mind that if Blitzbasic.com is ever offline for whatever reason, you at least have somewhere to go.
