Images on Buttons?

Ummm, wow, I might feel stupid asking this, but I didn't see anything in the
docs about being able to add images to buttons. Is it possible?

When talking about images on buttons, do you mean

1) Image to left (or right, perhaps) of text

...or...

2) Image as a background to the button, with text on top?


A quick hack to my GTK mod and I seem to have no.2 working.
"Stock" buttons appear to use 1, so perhaps that's what I'll use too...

I mean using standard OS Buttons with a glyph on them, and or some text also.
The ability to place the text left, right or above the glyph at our discretion would
be cool.
