Hi guys, I'm Alex from Maskedbear, I'm the man behind Skyblazer. In fact I actually played Retrosphere Demo (great game BTW) before making Skyblazer so I really was inspired by it as long as from Trailblazer and Skyroads, but I added some new ideas to the concept.
I'm planning to write a new Skyblazer(2) version in Blitz3d in the next 6 months (the first version was not made by Blitz), so... keep your eyes on this forum and on my site!

I thought you must have seen RetroSphere. the track colour is the same and the tunnel background is very similar to RetroSphere.

In fact I liked your star-tunnel effect and tried to create a similar one in my first levels.
To create it I used many ghost planes placed in a circular way and angled accordingly, each one having different speed and different z starting from camera position. When one of the planes ends up out of sight behind the camera its z becomes a far one and so the effect goes on. I added a fixed dark background, too.
I'm very curious about the method you used (if you want to tell it of course!)

What's with the bears and masks then? Why would a bear wear a mask? What's going on?
@puki: when a normal bear wears a mask he becomes a superhero called the Masked Bear !
