I would love to use this for modeling

Is there anyway to convert this to mocap for modeling... This guy is my new hero... never let anyone say chubby bald white dudes can't dance!

ok yes... it is brilliant... and that guy is my new hero! BUT the question remains... is there any program out there that will let me mo cap from video??? If so my mocap ideas may come to fruition and all my character ideas may come to pass!!!

I don't think you can actually mo cap from a movie, or certainly not one of such poor quality. Your best bet would be to animate it yourself

You could always rotoscope it. Most 3D software support layering video in the background, which you can then pose your character to match.

Can hardly claim credit for the idea...that must go to the Fleischer brothers from some time around 1920-30. :)
