Memory Remapping. M2N32 SLI Deluxe - wireless ED?

I haven't got a clue where to start. I formatted and installed Windows 64 bit edition.

The OS is still showing 3.25 gigs only out of the 4GB installed.

Through googling I've discovered that I have to remap the memory used by the devices to above that of the 4GB available in order to get the OS/System reporting and utilising the full 4Gig.

I've flashed the BIOS to the latest version using the Asus Updater and after looking at the BIOS options I'm at a loss as to where I go to remap the memory.

The motherboard is an Asus M2N32 SLI DELUXE - Wireless edition motherboard.

If anyone has any info on how I can get Windows XP 64 bit to recognise all the ram I would appreciate it.

Oh! The price of my processor, (DualCore x64 AMD 4800+) since Intel CoreDuo 2 was released, has dropped significantly. As you might guess I'm extremely annoyed. :/

I did it. I've now got the full 4GB showing.

When I edited the BIOS using the remapping tools from ASUS I was absolutely crapping myself. I thought I was going to fry the computer.

Lemme know how 64 bit works for you. If you don't have any weirdness happening I might switch to 64 bit myself.

Well, I've noticed immediate speed increases with applications and with Windows itself. XFX have 64bit drivers for my GFX card so that was no prob. When installed Windows 64 has no default graphics card drivers loaded unlike the 32 bit version.

I guess I have to fully test it now and see if it was worth the £97.16 (OEM) I paid for it.
