..Hey Puki, I just purchase Blitzgrass/Blitztree over Gamecreators web site you use to be involved in setting up regarding blitzers rights..do you know how long it will take until i receive my download links maybe??

If you purchased with credit card they process the order in-house and depending on the time of day it may take up to 24 hours for them to send you the info. All purchases I've made at Gamecreators site were processed in less than 4-5 hours.

I never purchased from TGC - I bought direct from AC.

I've heard they (TGC) can be a bit slow though.

Let us know if it you still don't get them - I can apply pressure.

I have bought from AC too, do we get Updates from TGC ?

As far as I know, there will be no updates - I think they are seen as final products.

TGC do not know that much about BlitzTree and BlitzGrass, other than selling them - this is purely as they are entirely developed and coded in B3D.

"Ronnie" was working on BlitzTree3D2 some time ago - I'm not sure if this is still ongoing or not.

In one of their Newsletters they are talking about a version
for DBPro, that`s why i asked.

I believe they were re-coding to DB as the product is currently Blitz only. My assumption is that this will continue as DB only - the Blitz versions are final products.

DB users have never been able to use these 2 products - which is why we fought so much to get them back as they were Blitz products.

I'd assume they would continue to develop the DB versions - however, their main task is to rewrite them to DB.

I was going to wait and see what they do with the product.

..okay..I did received my copy of Blitztree and blitzgrass..BlitzGrass is version 1.3 and BlitzTree is 1.42..this is the latest official releases, right??

Yep.

Some people had problems running the demo versions (this was due to the version of Blitz3D used to compile the demos) - let us know if you have any problems with the full versions - they should be fine though.

..yup..everythings seems to work fine..I just dont know how to use BlitzTree trees during lightmapping process, since they are in btr format and I cant import it in to any other tool...

Makes a mockery of their "Download the Demo to make sure it works" statement, if the demo doesnt work

As far as I know, the only tools that can use .btr are some of the terrain tools. You can probably lightmap (well, cast shadows) from them from within the terrain tool.

In fact, I might have that wrong.
