HELP!! PC Help.

Hi guys,
Please, does anyone know of a pc repair download site? My computer has been acting strange for the last week and because I'm "cash strapped" for about 2 months, I tried looking for a one time free repair for my computer. Ive downloaded a few programs and they found about 538 errors or in-need of repairs but I have to buy the program to completly fix all computer problems. I have about 2 years worth of stuff on my computer and I would hate to wipe out the whole computer and start fresh. If I can trust anyone's suggestions it would be you guys. PLEASE any help would be GREAT

What kind of problems? Spyware? Try SpybotSD.

I dont belive it was a spyware(although I try that site) I believe it said "Registry". I just know the pc is slowwwww.
I did an Anivirus (The one the guys suggested, Avast)Found 1 virus but still have 500 or so errors. And to make it tough on me, Im trying to find it compatable with the XP.

When all said and done, you should already have the important stuff from your 2 years of stuff backedup.

Backup all "Your" stuff, and reinstal windows. "538 errors" doesnt look like "spyware" to me

Any registry checking util will likely turn up that many errors on a PC that's not been reinstalled in a year or so. Very likely nothing to worry about at all.

Install ewido anti-spyware, reboot to safe mode and have it run a full system scan.

Do similar things with your current anti-virus program.

If you want to be ultra safe, also run spybot and adaware (no need to keep them installed, unless you want to).

Try Windows Defender from the Microsoft website. Its free and regularly updated.
