DS lady on subway

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/DS lady on subway

I saw something cool on the subway last night. There was someone across the car playing a DS. That in and of itself is no biggie. This person was female; slightly more unusual, but still normal. This was a 40-something year old.

Imagine your mom getting on a subway and whipping out some videogames to pass the time. awesome

My mum who is nearly 60 is hooked on The Curse Of Monkey Island, just goes to show that age is no problem for people of the older generation :) Good on that woman!
But in 10 or so years time most people around 40 will be using games cos that generation grew up with computers :)

Tut. You kids. I'm 54 and I've been playing games for as long as they've been around. What's your problem?

yeah my mum beta tested Easter BOnus.

The problem is, she would most certainly be using MY DS, leaving me with no dice! (that is, if I actually owned a DS, which I never will)

She was probably playing that brain training thing. There's been some hype in the press about it, I think.

My mom is 48 and plays Luxor on the PC like theres no tommorow. I still remember the day when I was teaching her what a mouse was....now she's can actually whip my ass on that game....however, any game thats more complicated than that gets her confused :p
