how do you lot go about making them?

I've just started drawing graphics in flash (flash, because it handles hand drawn graphics well) and could do with making the tiles seamless.

any thoughts? ta!

Well I am using Gimp.
I am changing the offset of the image and then I am making the corections.

One way of doing it by hand is to take it into Photoshop, offset the image by half its width and height, then use the clone tool to get rid of the lines, then offset it back...

That's what I do as well, works pretty damn good, although depending on the complexity of your texture, you might find you need to swap back and forth a couple of times and touch it up till it looks right.

Ive always used PSP7 but I think its time for me to move on :/

I totally recommend sswift's seamless texture program.

PSP9 is great and the new corel paint is supposed to be PSP10 as I (in my muuddled way) understand things!
