Converting Video Formats

What`s a good video convertor to convert .flv videos as played on You Tube to something like .wmv or .mpeg. I know there are a few about but can anyone recommend a decent (free) one?

i dunno... are those flash vids... does windows movie maker import that format...

You can also use the VLC player who can play just
about anything (including FLV) and it's FREEWARE ! :O)
