Cheapest console hardware/software in UK?

Just wondering where you guys in the UK buy your consoles and software online, in the UK.

Any recommendations for the best/cheapest site to do this?

I'm not particularly interested in import stuff, BTW.

Online? I dress up in a tracksuit, put on my baseball cap, and troups round the back gardens of the neighborhood until I find a door left open. Cool. INIT? :)

prices of consoles don't seem to vary much, but you can pick up some software pretty cheap from amazon.co.uk or play.com. if it's imports you're after then i can recommend yesasia.com.

This is in order of who I check first. Beware of copies on eBay. Be sure to check out Amazon Marketplace sellers, you can make a good saving there sometimes.

gamestation?

I just use Play.com these days. They're fast, reliable, don't charge for postage, and they're real cheap.

I'm still contemplating getting a DS Lite. I was just wondering if I could get a bundle deal cheaper online. The deals I've seen don't seem to be much better than the shops, TBH.

Gamestation is an option - they sell the DS Lite + any game for £110, I think.

Play.com does seem to sell the games cheaper than most shops, though.

I've stopped using Gamestation because of their awful "in store" service (both Portsmouth and Southampton branches), but am not sure how good their online store is.

If you don't want the hassle of the occasional moron eBay user then Play is a very good option. I've bought literally hundreds of items from them over the last few years and never had a problem.

I've never had a problem with Gamestation, although, I think I've sold far more stuff to them, rather than bought. :P

OK, I've just been to town and I folded. :P

Got myself a black DS Lite + New Super Mario Bros. for £110. Bought Mario Kart separately for £30. :/ I'm too imaptient to play it to get it online and save a fiver, or whatever. Probably be getting other games online, though.

Now, to read the manual about how to charge this thing up...

I guess it's possible we've been in there at the same time but I hardly ever go in there, TBH. This is the first time I've been able to buy gaming goodies in aaaaaaaaaages. :/

I hardy visit either as it's a 40 minute drive from where I live. I used to go there more in the past when I had more spare cash for games. I did buy my second-hand gamecube there - it rocks. I used to enjoy looking for a couple of games in gamestation and both Game shops to see which one had it cheapest. Also there is a good pasty shop near gamestation that I always look forward to going into and then scoffing a pasty (or two) on a bench near the church.

They've closed one of the GAME stores now. Well, it was only a few yards away from the other one. I'm surprised they kept both going for so long, frankly.

Heh you can get the original Legend of Zelda special edition for £30 from GameStation.

I'm going to sell my copy of LOZ and LOZ2. £50? Yup please :D
