I like it, it's easy on the eye and simple to navigate. If I had anything to sell then I would be happy for it to be available on your site.

Yes, very professional but I liked the colourful design of your 'old' site better, TBH. I'm just a bit bored of all-white sites of this kind, really - they all look the same to me.

The site using plain colours does draw your eye to the colourful game images though, which I think is a plus.

the old site it STILL there as it was - this is just the shop. I wanted it clean to make it easy to navigate etc.

Hey, not bad! I tested it and it appears that the page where you fill in your cc info is not secure (https). That's slightly worrying... also who's handling your logistics (product shipment) and cc card checks? Or do you have electronic delivery only?

it is not secure yet, just a demo but will be! It will be electronic download only and still to decide on a CC mob...

In case you care, I've never thought these e-commerce packages work particularly well for electronic delivery.

yes it is just another osCommerce site but one that sells my Blitz stuff. Just thought I'd share it with the community in case someone (obviously not you) found it interesting / useful etc.

I was kinda asking for feedback and wondered whether it would be somewhere others might like to sell their Blitz stuff. Perhaps it could become THE blitz shop...

yeah... once you get everything going... will you be open to putting other blitz made stuff on your electronic storeshelves, and most importantly, how much of a cut will you demand :)

link should be working again now. And yes I would consider opening this up to other Blitzers. As for my cut, I would say it will be loads less than ShareIt woudl charge but no idea yet. The thing is I need to pay for SSL, CSR for the secure SSL payments. Plus PayPal will charge for receiving money and so will a CC mob.

In fact this is looking more and more expensive the more I look into it. The purpuse was to try and reduce the cut ShareIt take - €2.95 + 5%! Now PayPay offers a similar service that accpets CC and doesn't require a PayPal account (for the purchaser) and they charge only €0.35 and 3.4%.

Doing it myself will be very expensive comparatively unless I get a LOAD of fellow Bliterz onboard. Looks like this might be a dead duck :-(

I'd be interested in using it's services until such time as I make my own site do a similar thing. Share-it's fees are quite big...

Does your cart add on VAT? I'm VAT registered so it would either need to add it on (like BFG/Cloverleaf etc does) or I guess say that it's included and charge the fees on the ex. VAT amount.

i like the look of the site... professional appearance, fast loading, straight and to the point...

if anything, that last thing may be what could be seen as what might be wrong with it... no screenshots of the games... at least a single small screenie previewing the action in the game...

ahhhh, with the current offerings, that may not be necessary right now... but if you get a few more products selling, you may want to segregate em into different categories, and add a lil screenshot pane somewhere...

... but right now it looks good.

You were (originally) asking for website feed back, hence my confusion.

ShareIt and PayPal are entirely different beasties, AFAIK. ShareIt operates as a reseller and handles all the international VAT/Sales Tax stuff for you (as do BMT, Plimus, RegNow, etc). PayPal, on the other hand, operates as a payment processing service only and leaves all the tax stuff for the user to sort out.
