remote desktop, like

Dear all,

I want to be able to remote desktop a windows app onto a pda, but just take 'bits' of the windows app and put them onto the pda, eg. some buttons, some parts of the screen, etc. I dont even know the technical term for this, but the closest I can get is a product called 'AppSwing', but its really expensive.

Can anyone recommend an alternative product, or (preferably)SDK that I can use?

Google the name of your PDA/OS and see if there's a port of VNC for it. There is a Java version of the TightVNC client, so if your device supports Java, that might be an option.
