Officially pfficial

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Officially pfficial

Greetings,

We've some fantastic news! igLoader has been granted and official MIME type (application/vnd.igloader), in order to conform with the MIME standard and to exact official recognition across all browser types and web servers we have decided to make a new release.

In addition to the MIME type we have made several advances in technology and are delighted to bring a whole host of new features to the table. We have also made significant improvements to our DRM function and increased the functionality of the igArchive tool.

What's new?

* Archive Streaming - The ability to stream content whilst your software is running.
* Patch Control - A fully functional patching system to ensure your users are up to date and well maintained.
* Sandbox - Secure measures for protection of client machines.
* Animated Loading Bar - ala OSX Tiger.
* Automatic Shortcut creation - Shortcut will launch your website directly.
* Uninstaller - Help users remove your software, if they desire.
* DRM - Decrypted data will never be written to disk.
* Improved igArchive - Create all your archives in one package and encrypt your .exe files.
* Reduced client install size - Whole package is less than 170KB and igLoader is only 26KB!
* License checks and validation done via https to secure.igloader.com.
* Full integration into the eXigo session play API.

Thank you again for your continued support.

Congrats on the official MIME type!

I suppose that was gained from the very scary looking ietf.org?

cool stuff guys well done!

IPete2.

Yummy, I can't wait for pfficial.

Tim I sent you an email a few days ago did you recieve it?

I'm not sure what this all means - However, well done - on whatever it is.

Congrats.

Another mime type for IE to ignore :)

igLoader is awesome stuff. Well done.

@slunkar, no sorry - what email did you sent it to? Was it Cloverleaf? that site now points to exigolive.com

@rest, Thanks - and still loads more features to come.

so cloverleaf's officially dead now then. Anyway good luck with eXigo.

.

Seems a shame for that to die.

<.>

What happened to Tim?

Tim has transmuted into eXigo - bit like a power ranger.

Sounds like one! Go Go eXigo!

I liked Indiepath more. Partly due to the Indie in terms of Indipendent and partly because of Indy who is always great to remember. ;O)

exigo sounds distracting cold to me. More like a backup solution or so. Also confusing as there are already firms with this name around.

Indiepath Lives! Cloverleaf is just changing shape.

Welcome Back :D

now he's a transformer.

I sent it to the developers email at clover leaf
