Google to protect us from nasties
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Google to protect us from nasties
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/5251742.stmGoogle has started warning users if they are about to visit a webpage that could harm their computer.
But can it warn us if people hack out media from games such as, oh I don't know, Oblivion, and use it in their own work? ;)
@Avon: Afraid not - but if you search for Oblivion using google, it will direct you to puki's game instead.
I did a hell of a lot of advertising for them - must have created a dozen threads on this forum before, during and after its release. I literally spammed Oblivion for all it was worth.
I might accept their media as payment.
Im still adicted to oblivion modding/playing :( I made a broomsword... Anywho, I might post some of my flash games Iv been making at school, while everyone else is doing other stuff.
Wonder what Windows would be like if Google was behind it's production line...
Warning. You are about to open Windows.
Continue? (Y/N)

Yeah - Oblivion/Bethesda would really have suffered without your help.
Doesn't mcafee already does that with their last release?
Yeah but Mcafee needs to be installed to do it ;)

If that was a question by windows, there'd be a 'cancel' in there too.
