KamiGames Website. No design, no nothing!

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/KamiGames Website. No design, no nothing!

Hi! I've come to my wits end with the KamiGames website. I've torn down the whole thing and left nothing in place.

I absolutely suck at webdesign. I can't code php, asp, cgi/perl and don't have a clue on how to setup a properly functioning site. I've tried Joomla, mambo, phpnuke, drupal and a few other php driven CMS systems and none of them work for what I want. I just want a simple website where I can post my games, downloads, screenshots etc that looks decent.

I can't be bothered coming up with design after design after design that looks aweful, non game related and crap.

Are there any CMS systems, templates, Graphics that are game oriented that would fit something like KamiGames? Preferably something like GlimmerGames or Indiepaths Cloverleaf website.

Just stick with crap web design and make it crap on purpose. That's what I do on my site.

Ah, my two sons are talking again.

I don't want a crap website. Then they'll think my games are crap, they are, but I want people to buy them then realise they're crap and by that time it would be too late to get a refund.

I love you both though, in a special way mwahh XxX

Any more suggestions?

Let's all move in together

Why don't you hire someone to make it?

Won't they want something called money?

How many licenses do you have? how many more can you afford? use that money on something useful ;)

Send me a Blitmax license and I'll sort your website out.

I can afford a lot more Blitz licenses and will buy some when the need arises. :)

Anyway, back on topic. Where could I get or buy game related themes for websites? I've tried googling game templates but all I get are templates for COD2, Warcraft etc. I'm really looking to purchase something like indiepaths template for CloverLeaf. I know the cloverleaf template is a paid for one coz I've seen 2 other sites using it. There's also a flash version of the template indiepath uses.

I need something like that or a template for joomla, drupal or mambo that has a gamey feel to it.

I can't. I'm not allowed to pass them from person to person.
