Blizzard looking for RTS developers

Well, according to some sources (wish I could find the link for it again), it seems like Blizzard is looking to develop a new RTS. To me, it seems like it could be a new StarCraft or Diablo, maybe a new WarCraft? I would like to see Blizzard come up with something completely original, dunno about you. Well, whatever it is, it's bound to be a very cool game, that much I can tell you. Maybe another MMORPG would be in their works, not too sure what Blizzard wants to develop next.

Yes and the clever mofos are posting a contest in which you can win up to $10000 for creating best art for Diablo, WC or SC. However theres a catch. I was about to enter the compo but I took my time to read every word of the "terms and conditions" or whatever they're called. And it appears if you submit something to them for the competition you give them all your rights. Imagine how many entries they're likely to get with all the advertising of the contest, way more worth than the 10000 they're offering. A smart, cunning, business move. But i'm not going to be one of the suckers to apply.

It seems history is repeating itself. 10 years ago it was Total Annihilation vs Starcraft. Now Supreme Commander vs StarCraft2?

Another Chris Taylor vs. Blizzard RTS slugging match? About time!

Hopefully Gas Powered Games can succeed where Cavedog failed in this regard.
