I lent a colleaque Civ II in his holiday and when he came back he was like "you b*stard, I wasted my whole holiday playing that and I spent like more than 24 hours not eating, drinking or going to loo on it etc". I only lent it to him so I'd stop playing it!
I've been well addicted at different points in my life to 8-bit games, 16-bit games, consoles, PC games and programming. Some pretty bad ones were Final Fantasy X with over 100 hours and stuff like XCOM and Tie fighter oh and Baldurs, actually the list is massive. However, I really enjoyed them and they didn't turn me into a social moron cos I did other stuff too...
