I'll invent an exciting story here:
I think it was canned as when it went to 'Gold Master' they realised Maplet was on it - which at the time was a chargeable product and so they had 25,000 demo disks incinerated.
Something like that.
I thought it was landfilled along with ET on the Atari 2600.
I recon it's just faded away because by the time they'd filled up the disk and were ready to go, that they'd rather BMax instead of B3D/B3D. Its not really in BR's interest to promote a CD featuring games using their old software when they're trying to promote the new biggie Bmax.
Although I dare say they'll be waiting a real long while before they can get a disk together of top Blitzmax games.
