Hope the "calibration" system that looks to be needed with the sensor bar is easy to work with.

Not too shabby a battery life though I must say, just wish Nintendo still would have opted for a LithiumIon Battery pack, or something with more juice.

It is opted. don't you have digicam accu? I've some ... cost 6$ for 2 and have 2500mAh each which means 3-5 times as long runtimes :-)

From what I read, I assume that the calibration is only needed if there is stuff that interferes.

Would be nice if it was optional, as alot of people seemed worried about them at E3, but given the fact a crapload of stuff in E3 in that area could have possibly been a disruption to the sensors......

Regardin rechargable batteries, I have never had good luck with them, but I think part of that is due to the fact the recharger itself may have been crap...
