Any feedback ?

Thanks

I'm sure I've seen that half-naked woman in the 'Freehand/vector drawings' section in an Amiga demo.

Impressive range of skills.

That's a nice collection of art/software. And everything seems spelled correctly (a pet peeve), so it looks good to go! :)

Site looks good and with a ton of stuff on it, well done!

Looks OK but consider breaking it up into smaller pages. Its too daunting to look at all at once.

actually that may well be true...

Unless somone has borrowed the lady pic then I must have been sleep time travelling and programming amiga demos again. Hate it when that happens .. ^_^

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure if it would be better to split onto seperate pages or all into one. My argument with myself was on one hand everything is on 1 page so users wont get "bored" of navigating to lots of pages. On the other side was seperate pages means easier to navigate.

I'll have another think. See if alot of people think the same.

thanks

On the whole I think it looks great. I do have a suggestion though, and I hope that you won't take offence by it... Your portfolia shows that you have a wide range of skills, but some of your artwork is stronger than others. Perhaps you should take a look at your work and weed out the less quality pieces?

In particular, I am thinking of some of the freehand/vector drawings in your 2d artwork section, and also the 3d egyptian mummy head. I understand that you want to demonstrate your flexibility, but you should also try to present yourself (and your abilities) in the best possible light.

I think I've seen that 'lady pic' before, too. Didn't you post it in the showcase here ages ago? If it wasn't you, someone did post a similar pic, back along.

And yeah, separate pages would probably work better.

I don't take offense. It is a very good point. I will remove some pieces.

Yeah I did post it aggggggggessssssss ago, the lady pic, and it got deleted lol.

Very impressive, from my own perspective I agree with concern you had about:-

..... I wasn't sure if it would be better to split onto seperate pages or all into one. My argument with myself was on one hand everything is on 1 page so users wont get "bored" of navigating to lots of pages....

I liked viewing your 'thumbnails' of your images on the one page - and I am more liekly to browse one or two pages from a site and navigate away, that time thing. I've been considering the option of an artist for a product I'm producing, have been wrestling with the 'DIY' option or sub-contract.

Let me just say that your work was impressive enough for me to create a new 'artists' folder in my bookmarks, with your site as the first entry. (:~>)

Wow cool response! Well if you need any artwork then for one of your projects dont hesitate. I'll even throw in a free smoking monkey.... look hes taking a puff..

*smoking monkey not included*

lol

But seriously, dont hesitate :)
