And it's an indie game special.
You might recognise a couple of Blitz developed games in there.
http://consolevania.com/downloads.htmWell worth a download and very funny as usual.
Thanks John.
I've been looking forward to this one!
The bandwidth canny take it, cap'n. :/
What kind of accent is this? :O)
What is this?
It's Scottish (Glasgow).
It's a web distributed video game TV show. The same guys also do a similar show for the BBC.
How does one get their game on there?
They approached us. I know them from the rllmuk forum which I help to run.
You could try joining their forum.
well done on getting your game on it. It was quite funny but in the end I forwardwinded all the crap just to see tha games.
I watched one movie and it was quite fun. But why wasn't the guy totally naked?! More as it was hard to understand. I everytime prefer the english above the american accent but his one is really strange guys! :O)
I couldn't watch it. They talk way too fast and their accents are far too thick. Half the time I'm listening to gibberish.
>But why wasn't the guy totally naked?!
I'll pass on your complaint.
Actually he's consistent with the game. They only go down to their undies.
Buhhh! ;O)
It not so much the accent as the fact they are using Glaswiegen words that most people don't understand. D'ya ken-like?
Do you as a english person also have problems understanding this?
Reminds me when i had my first trip to north america where we started in Halifax in canada and went down the east coast till we were in New Orleans. Also cool accent there...open your ears and try to concentrate... ;O)
I don't speak English natively, so, trying to listen to this I only heard gibberish like WarrenM.
>Do you as a english person also have problems understanding this?
Not me but some people do. Although I think it's often a form of snobbery (amongst the English) to pretend you don't understand it.
Well, some words/sentences slipped through but i got the whole idea. Great fun! :O)
"D'ya ken-like?" isn't from glasgow :oP It's more a Fife/Edinburgh thing. wee bit eh info fur ya, ya bassa :D

Agreed. I'm a Glasgow boy and if you think that was bad .. don't ever visit Dundee .. even I need a Babel Fish to understand what they're on about ;)
well it's close enough. I worked with a guy from Edinburgh for a few years, wasn't sure if it applied to Glasgow too.
They're not talking that fast and the accent isn't that strong.
aside from Naked War and Bullet Candy, were there any other games on the show developed in Blitz?
Cheers
Charlie
I think the football game is Blitz as well. New Star Soccer.
Just watched another one: Ayyy this is $%$§)/(GFK censored) great fun. :O)
"They're not talking that fast and the accent isn't that strong."
Oh ... oh, hey! I guess I'm wrong. I appreciate you taking the time to point out that I posted the wrong reaction. I mean, I was obviously thinking one thing and writing another. God bless you.
OMG. Difference of opinion.
they should offer some extremely compressed videos where the quality is bad but you get the general idea of what is going on
Well, as long as you know you're wrong that's fine.
No, dude, seriously - thank you. It's good to know I wasn't hearing what I thought I was.
Does anyone know from which game the music which is played in consolevania 2.1 during Star Ocean3 (24.21 minutes) is from?
don't ever visit Dundee
Oops, too late... I live there. Just stay away from the "gadgies" and you'll be fine. And "eh, eh" accompanied by vigorous nodding means "yes".
I hated this show the last time I saw it, but I must admit I got it a bit more this time. I can see why people might not get the accents though.
