Software integration fees

Is £350 per day reasonable? too cheap? too much?
Thanks.
Okay. You've lost me.
What is a Software Integration fee?
I hated calculus at school.
He comes ronud your house and installs a software solution on your network/PC.
lol. I was gonna ask that myself but lost my nerve. :P
What's a software solution?
What's a software solution?
I think it's a program that comes in liquid form.
I did think Indie might be talking about charging a company to convert their existing app to work in a browser, using igloader? I'm probably way off.
Sorry, yeah it's a fee that I will charge per day to integrate my software with someone elses software.
Pretty reasonable. As an individual you could charge around £200 - £300 but as a company you can charge more. We used to charge on-site consultancy at £375 a day then later put it up to £490 per day and the people who moaned were the ones you didn't want to do business with anyway. A day's data conversion was also £490 and a day's development was £640. Sometimes we'd quote a day of developement thinking it would be hard and I'd do some nifty coding and get it done in 2 hours. Did the customer get a refund, hell no, they never knew and to them that was the value they were prepared to pay for the tweak anyway. The thing is with this, we were a company that advertised in the trade press, had stands at trade fairs, actual premises with real employees (ooh), sales reps (me), customers all over the UK (including the government) and we were damn good at it so people were prepared to pay.
£300 a day to install things?
Thats close to a weekly wage here each day.
I went at £375 and the proposal has been accepted.
cool. The point of £300 a day stuff is how often do they come along? Once a week? Then it is a weekly wage unles you do anything else ;-)
Jake, come to skype I'll tell you all about it.
Indiepath: I charge 80$/hour for conversion fee unless i can see potential for other consumers who already have the same software and therefor the conversion will be done.
I charge alot more if there is data to import, because there is always trouble with that.
We used to pay $140.00 a day for that... Then they learned I could do it and I was expected to do that on top of my purchasing job (which is now gone the way of the buffalo since the merger...)
