Welcome Hyrule. You can change your name using the account tab at the top of this website. Change the passwords and username like I said so your account doesn't get hijacked.

Also, in the account tab you can download BlitzMax and once installed do a syncmods to get MaxGUI.

For the mods. I gave this account to hyruleKnight for some work he'll be doing for me. As promissed by him.

And for skidracer. One of my spam accounts are now gone which leaves another 15. :D

Two things - if your standard of posting is the same here as it is on that 'lesser' site, then probably everything you post is going to get deleted by moderators. We've got standards here.

Second, did you clear this with BRL first? Not sure they're going to be happy about people giving each other free access to BRL products.

Who said it was free? I gave him the account as payment for work he is going to do. It was my account. Now it's his. He's not getting anything free.

Well I'd say that owning and selling multiple BR accounts and bragging about it (surely you don't own 15 accounts? there aren't even 15 products to buy from here) should be taken seriously, as resale in these terms is surely not allowed.

I'm sure in the past, it's become a trend around here to ban you for good reasons.

Why can't he give the account away if he has bought it? I got my BMax account from someone leaving and everyone was ok with this. BRL Gets the money from Amon, Amon gives he product to someone as payment....there is no loss for BRL.

Didn't Amon buy a few accounts a while back as an apology for getting banned (or was that someone else?)

Is CW really just full or pirates?

Amon, you go there a bit, Is Cobra actualy in development or not, because the screenies are exactly the same as last year.

CW is pretty much full of pirates, or people using the demo. I see no reason why someone who had bought blitz would choose to spend thier time there, rather than here.

Cobra is in Dev, and seems to be coming to the end of the dev cylce, but it looks like idigion are stalling on thier part. They are trying to work out what todo with it I think.

Cobra itself is completed AFAIK, Graham has stated that other problems are getting in the way, but I don't think he has said what exactly it is.

It's been complete for about a year I think.

The trouble with CWS is that it is populated by highly annoying and immature little warez kiddies, many of whom are so young they can barely construct a coherent message.

The answer to that question is yes. The real questions are a) will it arrive before Max3D, and b) will it be better. The answers as far as I can figure are "Yes" and "No". Respectively.

The implications of a publisher not knowing what to do with a finished product are too rediculous to seriously consider. The options are a) ship it, and b) write it off. They can flip a coin if they like. Where I to hazzard a guess, it would be that there is some difference of opinion as to what amount of monetary compensation is sufficient, in exchange for the work that has gone into it.

Now if Idigicon had a finished product, if they shipped it now, if they marketed it aggressively and if they made a smart and competant sales strategy, they would be in a position to seriously threaten BRL, Unfortunately there are way too many if's in that sentance to do us any good.

Actually, FD, you're right. Why shouldn't Amon give his unused,paid for account to someone who will make use of it?

My concern was piracy. Where did he get Max from? (Not Amon, Hyrule...) He now has access to Max without paying.

Still, thats what the license is. Amon passes the license to Hyrule since Amon doesn't use it. Hyrule will make use of it. $80 has no longer gone to waste since Hyrule is now actually using the product.

Yes Hyrule has the account but he made a comment on CW.com that he was going to bootleg BlitzMax. This comment was removed including my attack on him for makeing me wish I hadn't given him the account.

I've emailed him anyway and have asked for the account back. If he doesn't comply I'll phone shareit and get a refund for it.

I've been fooled by a little warez kiddy whos probably just gone a shred blitzmax with all his buddies.

I wonder if anyone on CW has warezed my framework yet? I posted a thread there, it got lots of reads but no replies. People here reply and buy, but I've no way of telling if some of the sales are from CW members as I get quite a few from people who never visit these forums (at least I don't recognise their names/email adresses).

cool, if I go to CW I can get your framework for free. But, I take it that you wont give me any help with it if I did that.

Transferring accounts is probably a questionable practice due to the digital nature of the product, but maybe one transfer per account is acceptable. I will have to clarify that with Mark and skid.

If you blocked the password, you block the updates and forum usage though.

It's still legally Amon's property as well i reckon, so he should be able to get the password changed :o)
