I agree. It would be nice to know either way once and for all. There are still lots of Blitz3D fans around here and not everyone wants to leave it behind in favour of BMax.

Mark Sibly here. First, let me explain: after a 48hr Max3D coding session, followed by a bizarre accident involving a Swedish au pair, an industrial vacuum cleaner, three boiled eggs (hard) and a bottle of absinth, I inadvertently banned myself from the forums! Ho-hum. So, I've temporarily hijacked big10p's account for this reply.

Anyway. Yes, Blitz3D will be receiving a significant update soon. The biggest feature to be added will be a fully featured en suite bathroom with mirrored ceiling. Cor, just you wait!

since mark sibly seems to be working on bmax3d fulltime now, i think we can all but rule out blitz3d dx9 support and an sdk. maybe there will be a few more versions of bug fixes but probably no new features.

Not true - he appeared to me in a dream and said: " Amazing things are going to happen in Blitz3D - you just hold onto your underpants pal! " then tapped his nose and nodded all-knowingly.

With that, he floated back out the window using his two plastic carrier bags full of panties as wings.

Mark probably hasn`t even seen this thread but I`m sure someone at BRL has. Any answer would be nice even if its not the one we want to hear I would rather know either way myself.
