I'm curious to know how many Blitzers know about Manual/Auto Surf Advertising Programs and are using them to advertise their Blitz Apps/Games.
They appear to be a easy and affordable way to advertise and generate some extra cash.
Any insights?
I gather you mean an automated system that will surf my sites and generate cash from the adverts that are served?
I think this is highly unethical and if I found one of the sites I pay to advertise on using this method to create traffic I'd pull my ads and contact the other advertisers on that site and let them know the deal.
I think you'll find that most of the ad serving agencies have systems to stop this kind of behaviour. For instance our adserver will track hits by IP, client cookies and persistent sessions (on the server). Too many hits from the same place and we'll stop serving you adverts.
But, if you're talking about something completely different then please just ignore me :)
