Go and check it.
http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/No Linux port yet tho...
I like this engine and this works pretty well.
Gman's wrapper is great, too.
That reminds me it's a long while not seeing Gman around, maybe he's currently busy.
[EDIT]Sorry for typo, should be Irrlicht[/EDIT]
Yes, it's good news.
I'm hoping that gman has disconnected his internet to work on gg.irrMax 24/7 until he has a Mac version, but the real reason is probably that he has a life :P
Exciting stuff, though. I quite like Irrlicht :)
(Then again, I seem to like most 3d engines... Ugh... decisions, decisions).
I'm glad that gman to ported all the Irrlicht examples to BlitzMax. It is really helpful and proves that his wrapper is quite complete.
Also nice to see things like this without crazy external DLLs doing the wrapping.
Edit:
Wait a minute... why am I critiquing gman's wrapper?
I've tried Irrlicht for a while, with Code::Blocks IDE, not knowing when Max3D will be released, but should have sufficient time to complete something with it.
Actually I hope Max3D can retain the compatibility with current B3D architect, plus new stuffs like shader and cross platform, it seems too early to say that, we'll have to wait till Xmas or so.
