Why does [code][/code] have too much white space?

Basically I do this

I leave a single blank line under it in the comment memo box (you know, the thing you type in) yet by the time it hits the forum, it has 3 blank lines.

So if you type immediately after the slash code bit with not spaces/CR at all, you still get a two blank lines.

Shouldn't you be playing with your new toy? It doesn't have white spaces ;)

I do agree, this is a bit bothersome but I grew used to it and it forces you to format your posts :)

OK, I removed one of the blank lines - that's the best I can do!

Ok, as long as you are fixing silly things like that, how about fixing [ codebox ] too.

first line is stuck up one line too high

codebox is just like a textbox, it doesnt resize to the content, it scrolls

Ahh,... I thought it was the same issue. Just checked, and apparently it has to do with the skin I am using on the page (skn3_skin)

It places the word "Sourcecode" on the top line of the codebox, and also overlays it with the first line of code so the top line of the box has text on top of text.

This is CSS-related no?

Would need to apply the fix to all skins in that case.

As for me, it dont bother me, I quite like the spacing of the code and the text following below it.

ah I see Pongo. Basically codebox works fine under the default skin.
