Update links at top of forum page

Why do they all give "internal error"?

Why are they even there? They disappeared when updates were moved to the Account page, then came back.

All a bit odd...

Yeah, they seem to be referencing posts in the old Updates forum, which obviously doesn't exist anymore. Dunno what's going on.

ah yes, you're right Noel, they did get removed as you have to go to your account page now for updates.

I prefer having them up there since it makes things more efficient, but they need to be fixed to link to the Account -> Product Updates page.

Maybe putting them on the home page would remove clutter for those poor deprived people with 800x600 resolution.

I don't understand why it's too hard to just have those nice 'latest versions' somewhere easily visible (forums or main page) in a hardcoded (html or whatever formatted) text, then manually change them when an update comes out. I can imagine when the next update does come out I won't know about it for a month until I find out by accident somehow.

The links are gone again.

I agree, it's absurd to only put the updates there.

They could at least put back the Updates forum sections so that we can discuss these updates and be easily aware of the release of a new one.
The downloads don't need to be posted there, but the news should be.

As it is, there is no way I am checking Account->Product Updates on a routine basis.
Besides, there are no dates on the updates listed there even though there easily could be.
I used to know that there was a new version when the Latest Updates thing said that the last update was only a little while ago. I generally don't know or care about the version numbers.
