Is there a way I can host a folder of files on my website and have a user click a link which downloads all of them to a folder? Kind of like putting a zip up there which automatically unzips. My friend is a technophobe is all and I want to send him 250 small jpegs which amount to 13MB but he won't even know what a zip is, and if I put them on an Outlook mail, he'd probably think he had to save each one individually.

Can't you make it a self-extracting zip ( .exe ) so all he has to do is double click it?

Or even burn the pics on a cd?

Short of writing an app to do it, no.

If he has winXP, he can just open a zip like it is a folder.

Cool, all good suggestions. Thanks...

Put them on a CD and mail it? ;)

Join the nineties, vinyl! ;)

I think some softwares have the function to wrap the whole folder as EXE, then you can view/export them, however can't recall what it is, doing some search will help.

You could combine them into one big .jpg....just to confuse him. :) Though, seriously. Just Zip the thing. Looks like a folder on WindowsXP, and is no problem on OSX (and if he's a technophobe, he surely isn't running Linux).
