YAY! I get to come back to game coding!!!

Yep... some people here will probably remember me and my GalAxis, GalaxyBlitz, BlitzChat, Terrascape, Santa's Slay etc... and then poof I disappeared. Well, I disappeared because I started programming applications for a living full time, got involved in a pizza business (we'll just not talk about that one) and now have 2 kids!! Holly smokes what a change in only 2 years.

I get to go on Parental leave for 9 months! which means I get to come back to game programming yay!

I Look forward to getting involved in the community here again and get my game programming legs back

I tell ya programming Computer Games is a heckofvalot more fun than applications! Well, that might come in handy for the supporting web sites for the awesome games I'm bound to make lol

As for BMx I am really interested in trying it out and seeing what benefits it has. Just from initial reading I would say that I'm very likely to get it. Its looking great and as always Mark is doing a bang-up job on it.

My priorities will be starting game dev with B3D until I can replace my antiquated computer and then look at getting BMx...

I think I will start off small... maybe a Tetris clone LOL JK!!! Actually I have an interesting game idea that might be fairly quick to do as a warm-up using the code from a couple previous game projects... I dont want my first game to take longer than about 2 months to build.

Yeah, I'm trying to get away from Blitz for a while, and go back to Visual Studio, to me, it's a little easier to have that "click-click" activity with VB than Blitz, IMHO. I dumped a project I was working on, so I could come up with a strategy/shooter combo of sorts. Up until then, I'm doing more behind the scenes work than ever before with other developers/designers. I just haven't had time for my OWN project, so now I'm starting something brand new from scratch. I know the feeling you're having, Skully.

Well, I think ive finally ironed out what I am going to make for a game the first time around. I wish I had BMax to do it with but thats going to have to wait a bit because the $ just arent available for a few months... so Blitz3D it is... more to come... later :)
