Cool Indie Games No One Knows About

I thought it would be cool to post cool indie games that go unnoticed. Particularly non-US and UK ones, which particularly seem to slip by unnoticed.

I'll start off with this one, an awesome looking RPG called Guardian of Paradise ( shame it's all in Jap, but even so.. great game )

Now let's have some more cool indie shareware and freeware games that you just don't see on RealArcade, Yahoo and BigFish. Something other than the oh-my-god-if-I-see-another-match-three-I'm-going-to-shoot-myself casual portal-friendly stuff.

Is Cave Story OK, or do too many people know about it now, thus it fails to match the thread criteria?

I know about it, but I'm sure some don't. Anything which doesn't get shoved down your throat by the portals fits the criteria AFAIC.

I had a lot of fun with the democracy demo. Outside of the indiegamer forums, I haven't heard too much about it, but then again I don't really check the portals.
