MaxGUI forum
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/MaxGUI forum
Moderators: Please, pretty please make a separate
MaxGUI forum, like you already have done for MaxGL.
All the GUI questions are messing up the other forums
since it have no interest to the ones who program
BlitzMax but have not purchased the GUI-module and
it would be a lot easier for the ones who have.
This is also a module you have to pay for, a separate
forum should not be asking too much IMHO.
I did email moderators about this a few days ago but
like always it's only total silence to harvest from
that department...
I second that motion. It would be a good way to filter in/out the MaxGUI discussions. I mean, come on, there are more MaxGUI questions than there are posts to the MacOSX forum ;-D
Yep, a maxGUI forum would be nice.
Also, there's nowhere to post FeatureRequests now that the Updates & Betas forum is gone. So a place for feature requests would be nice also.
Good it's not just me then :)
*bump*
I'll bump this until a moderator makes it go away (or comment), that way I know at least that some of the suits did read it...
Agree, You have my vote
*bump*
I also think there should be a separate MaxGUI forum.
That would make things a lot more well arranged :o)
A MaxGui forum gets my vote.
and the removal of the CreateThread user priv in bug report forums, mods could then move threads from the programming forums to bug reports once the thread establishes actual bugs (which of course we are duly grateful) and discussion could continue.
and a move thread with rename would be very cool also...
Well...? you possess the power to make it happen, don't you Skid ?
Hello.
Like an old lady pushed down the stairs: bump, bump, bumpety-bump, bump, bump.......bump.
Yeah, gets my vote too.
Goodbye.
Heh, I wouldn't touch the brl server with a stick.
Heh, I wouldn't touch the brl server with a stick.
Poke someone who can with your stick instead then...
@skidracer: You don't have to, connect using remote console or ftp ;)
Hello.
Like an old lady pushed down the stairs after being poked with a stick by skidracer: bump, bump, bumpety-bump, bump, bump.......bump.
Goodbye.
Goodbye.
It does sound like a good idea.
bømp
Also, a music-forum please? (creation, requests, demos, discussion etc.) :P
Also, a music-forum please? (creation, requests, demos, discussion etc.) :P
Renaming of Graphics showcase would do fine... maybe Content Creation renamed to Media (or something better), since those forums don't get a whole lot of attention anyway; may as well increase their range of topics.
Personally, I post my music in the graphics showcase :) It should be the "Content Showcase" :)
Better bump until someone who *can* do something about it at BRL reacts then...
I also vouch for a BMax GUI forum, each official module should have its own section if you ask me, and also, a warning better then "ERROR:Internal Error" when you click a link to a thread in this forum your account doesn't have access too would be nice.
I think this is overdue :-)
Yes it is...
It's been three weeks, time to bump this one !
I vote for this as well
*Vote*
It gets my vote too!
Here as well! :)
Dabz
Isn't it about time, BRL, for that maxGUI forum? :-)
it got skids vote a month ago, so yeah, it is about time :)
I'd find this very useful!
a sticky for the communitiy edition of the maxgui form editor would be great in this forum!
Please can we have a maxgui forum...
anyone?
What MAxGUI Form Editor?
See we need a MaxGui thread. (But seriously, what form editior)
*bumpetibump*
*cough*
Thats a bad cold you have there wedoe. Do you think its an acute cold?
I'm better now but the GUI-forum still isn't around...
yeh... gui forum sounds good...gimme ;)
I think there should be a B+ GUI forum first, B+ was here first and still waiting.
hm, ..doubts.
Before Bmax ppl would buy B+ for the GUI (and maybe faster 2d), but the majority of blitzers have been blitz3d'ish ppl. Therefore I figure that the general B+ forum more or less implicates GUI anyway.
Blitz GUI is a product BRL sells separately, a separate forum is *not* too much to ask IMHO, and it will be a lot cleaner in the other BM forums.
Don't know if I'd post there much, but still I'm all for it.
*cough*
w00ps, now I did it..
;)
Hello.
B'dump pa cha.
Goodbye.
.
i say give it it's own forum
Yep, a MaxGUI-forum would be great!
What on earth are you lot up to up here?
I was trying to have a nice quiet kip downstairs in the max osx forum, and then there's all this bumping going on up here interupting my slumber.
Noisy devils!
I would also give my "hear hear" for a MaxGUI forum.
It think it's about time I also 'signed' this!
Looks like another good forum suggestion is being ignored - no surprise there then :/
Who knows, maybe they like their forum to be a cluttered mess?
I don't think it'd do any harm, so I concur!
Do you think we could have a MAXGui code section as well?
Let's have a MightyMAX forum. Then we get out and draw with the incredibly thick black pens.
hhrm*COUGH*hmm..
**** VOTE ****
I think a separate forum for MaxGUI would be great, also. In the regular BlitzMax Programming forum so many of the threads are about MaxGUI it can be hard to weed them out when it's not something you're interested in reading about. Conversely, the same can be said about that forum when your purpose is looking up MaxGUI info.
It would also be good to separate them out for another reason -- When Max3d is released, it will DEFINITELY need another forum, so it's better to make the distinction now between Max and Max add-ons than to wait until the problem worsens.
Mark.
A forum for MaxGUI would be nice
I don't think I've voted yet and this does make a lot of sense. So, uhh... *voteth*.
I haven't voted in a long time so I'll vote again. :)
Seperate MaxGUI forum Please!
I'll throw in my 0.0000000000002 cents. It'd sure make searching for MaxGUI stuff easier.
Don't make a seperate MaxGUI forum. (Reverse Psychology)
Who just pushed me into this thread?
^__________^
If you have any website requests please email them direct to me. I somehow missed this topic until now.
How about moving all the topics scattered around, with
[BlitzGUI] or similar in the topic field to the new forum ?
Cheers Simon!
add a MaxGUI code archive
And an overview of the forumcodes next to the reply textfield would be handy as well..
cool it is up. that reminds me, i have to get MaxGUI now :P
