Planet names

Hi,
I need 42 unique planet names and 6 galaxy names for my current game project. If anyone would like to suggest a few names to be included it would be appreciated.

Why don't you take and put together random phonetic sounds to create planet names on the fly? Ba-ra-me-tus... Ko-le-man-re... simple. :)

Yeah, i did think of that Kanati, but due to the nature of the game, it would prob be better to keep the same names for ease of playing after the player has progressed a bit. Thanks for the suggestion though, will certailny come in useful for others, in fact i may well right a little funcion to generate names and pop it in the archive.

why only 42 planets in 6 galaxys..

if you only need 42 planets, you only need 1 galaxy... do you have any idea how big the milky way is?

Why not use real planet and galaxy names?

(planet names being star system, planet number) Like Sol 3 is earth, Sol 4 is mars.
