Freeware MP3 to OGG Converter?

I'm looking for a freeware!(no trial, no shareware) MP3 to OGG converter.
Did anyone write one for bmx btw?

DBpowerAMP is a trial, isn't it?

Newp - only a couple of bits for it. You can use it for other things (mp3 encoding, for example), but I use it most often just for a quick context-menu way of converting files from WAVs to OGGs and many other formats.

I use the excellent Audacity for all my aural needs. ;o)

I use Aquafresh.

Latest version of dbPowerAmp has a trial on the mp3 encoding btw, dont know when they made the change, just wish I had a backup of an earlier version, since it's a great program for that sort of work. =/

The mp3 encoding is due to licensing restrictions imposed upon them. I use it all the time to go from wav->ape and ape->ogg. I use other tools to go from ape->aac+ though.

Grisu: You're going to suffer a loss in quality going straight from mp3 to ogg. You really would be better off trying to find the original source (wav or CD) and going straight to ogg. I really dread to think what mp3->ogg would sound like, even on my cheap amp.

I tend to lose a bit of bass whenever I do so, which ticks me off (my subwoofer always cranked, I like *feeling* the beats, literally, just hate when it shakes something small on my desk, makes an annoying buzzing noise), so I have to resort to keeping them either in MP3 format, or actually put my CD-drive back to use and rip them again, but in straight OGG.

Audacity is the way to go.
