I got another email from them today saying:




Another quest (that is in initial stages) is getting hold of Aliencodec's BlitzTree3D and BlitzGrass3D. I've not heard back from The Games Creators yet - but I will break them down. I will go as far as pushing for these being freeware if nobody wants to actually sell them.

I think BlitzTree3D is the closest you are ever likely to get to SpeedTree and the price difference is amazing.

solstar games the owner of realmcrafter is a very friendly company I wont doubt that they will try to work with you.

I have been getting the run around from game creators for almost 6 months now. I sent them reciepts for buying all the alien codec products and since then havent heard a thing.

Exactly what is your problem "ckob" - have you not received what you paid for? Or is it something else?

I seem to remember "Becky Rose" saying she had problems too.


ANYONE ELSE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH ALIENCODEC PRODUCTS?

well I bought all the treemagic versions from aliencodec and emailed the game creators about it 6 months ago to get the downloads for them. They said they would as long as I provided reciepts and I sent them to them and have heard nothing after two emails since then.

On second thoughs, maybe I should thrown the ball into on coming traffic.

I always thought that The Games Creators bought out Aliencodec - as that was what people were saying at the time. However, I just downloaded the latest 'Plant Life' demo edition which is called 'Plant-Life demo - TGC Edition' directly from The Games Creators website. The licence agreement doesn't mention The Games Creators at all.

I am wondering if the TGC deal was purley to host the products.




I'm going to email TGC again to find out whether or not they have a stake in this.

In the meantime, anyone have an email for "Ronnie Smith" aka "sabata"? I've dug up a couple. Also, I am sure there were a couple other Aliencodec people that posted here - anyone remember who they are?


These are two good products that need returning to the Blitz Community. If nobody wants to sell them them, may as well make them freeware.
