Good hardware comparison site?

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Good hardware comparison site?

It seems I'm forever trawling around trying to find information on mutiple pieces of hardware. As an example (what lead me to start this thread) :
I want to get a wireless keyboard/mouse package. There are a load on the PC World site, but none list one of the MOST important pieces of information - the usable range! As you've all probably noticed, if you type a product into Google nowadays, you just get bombarded with "FIND THE LOWEST PRICE HERE" and "COMPARE PRICES HERE" and "BUY [whatever you just typed] HERE". As for typing the word 'range' - all that did was throw up a load of "range of products" sites.

So what I'm after is a 'magazine' type site that has a lot of reviews on hardware - professional reviews, not "I just bought this and its well wicked and my mum said so and I pwned it" consumer reviews.
And if there's a site that provides comparisons between products in the same category that would be ideal.

This is a good example of the sort of thing I'm after (although lacking comparisons) but it specialises in digital cameras

Not sure if they do mice/keyboard package comparisons - but they have certainly done comparisons for 3d cards, motherboards, cpus etc.

Here are mice:

Nice site Puki, I was able to quickly find a roundup that showed a number of modern cards and their benchmarks in actual games. I'll be keeping this in mind for any future upgrades.

Tom Pabst is (and has been for ages) a guy who says whatever someone pays him to say, he has been in a string of pockets since about '99. If you want insanely detailed but relatively unbiased and real understanding on hardware there is only one place:
