@BRL Best Of Blitz?

Until we get a toolbox like section but for games I would assume it is very hard for new users to see what has been made with Blitz products which is a real shame as there is some great stuff floating around that goes unnoticed. So my question is will we ever see this addition to the site? I know we already have the gallery but I mean finished games.

Now I`m in the mood for playing some Blitz classics I would like to see what everyones favourites are. Here`s one to start us off,

Suave, this is great example of a cool game that most people probably haven`t even heard of. Hell, I can`t even find a link to it but have the full version on my hard drive.

This has been asked for before. I'm guessing BRL can't implement it due to bandwidth issues. If the games were hosted on the author's own webspace, it would just disintergrate into a mess of broken links.

It is a good idea, though. Case in point: I've never heard of Suave. :/

Unless they place a 'report a broken link' button on the games page. This should keep the place tidy!

If the user does lose webspace for whatever reason, it cannot be too hard for them to shove it on a back-up webhost, something like savefile.com

Broken download links are of course pretty annoying... Although a lot of the time you can still find the file in question simply by going to http://www.archive.org and pasting the download link in their search box -- they have an incredibler amount of cached files from the internet, and a lot of the times they still have a copy of it.

They could have it so that the games and other downloads are at least *advertised* on this site, maybe with each game getting its own page, some screenshots, reviews, whatever, then when it comes to actually downloading it links to some other server that hosts all the files and specializes in providing download bandwich for files, wouldn't that be a better solution? It would seem that it is hosted on this site, but the files themselves would be handled by some company that specializes in providing that service. ie outsource the downloading, but make web pages for the actual advertising part.
