are there any problems with me selling my bmax (and account of course)? is there anything to stop me?
any problems with? (unused max)
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/any problems with? (unused max) ** Not an official point of view **
I guess if you are losing the account and the ability to get updates for it then I can't see there being a problem.
You'd best send an email to blitzsupport or someone similar to make sure that the new owner gets the account.

Yeah send an email off to James. He's always been helpful and responsive whenever I've needed a question answered. They've transferred licenses for B3D and B+ in the past, so you should be ok.
Why you wanna sell ?
{cYanide} = bent
Hey cYanide, if you sell will you let me have a copy of the reworked PhotonPhysics, if you are still working on it.
Cheers.
Cheers.
sure i will, and deux no need for it
No need for it?
Its the future of Blitz. Blitz3D is rapidly nearing the end of its life cycle. BlitzPlus is just.... eugh. Enough said.

Blitz+ is the daddy, so fast and stable. FOr 2D games and apps there's nothing better for the PC.
Blitzmax needs about 700Mhz just to open a window and move some simple shapes around without slowing down.
Cyanide probably just gave up with it from frustration (maybe like with all the problems you seem to be having too with Blitzmax)
Blitzmax has some way to go yet before it becomes the future of Blitz and it doesn't even work properly in Win98.

I've been spending some time reading alot of posts, from the blitzmax forum. And that's putting me off trying it out. There seems like alot of simple things that require work arounds, like the recently mentioned mouse pointer slowdown. I'd rather have a look at it when alot f these things are sorted.
All credit to the blitz staff, they seem to be working there asses off with it :o)

Too true. Blitz3D is still currently top dog around here for me.

I don't envision a huge role for Win98 in 'the future' either, so that will become a non-issue over time anyway.
I'm not aware of BlitzMax itself having any Win98 problems anyway. I'm aware of Max2d having Win98 problems and I'm aware of FreeAudio having Win98 problems, but that's the good thing about BlitzMax, it's modular. You can easily make your game without using either Max2d or FreeAudio, if you wish. I know I am.
