Addictive Flash games
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Addictive Flash games
Do you have any links to some addictive, or well put together Flash games?
A few gems which I like playing:
Dungeon Escape - A tribute to Dragon's Lair, Space Ace
Nanaca Crash - Crazy Japanese game
What Zwwran said.
Some of these are just beautiful.
As this is a post about flash - did you guys notice the recent update to IE that MSoft have implemented meansa that flahs content on websites now has to be implememnted in a slightly different way? Or else a notice comes up - "Click to activate content" - This is true of all active content on web pages, what a nightmare potentially.
IPete2.
There's a plugin for Firefox that does too where you have to click to activate. It's only a matter of time before Click to activate Flash becomes standard due to all the adverts that keep happening in web browsers.
Ojay,
The
Chasm game is remarkable. I've just spent the last hour or so on it and loved every minute. Thanks.
oh yeah chasm is a really great game! lovely to say the least ;D
but crimson is awesome too, wished they had done a successor...but oh well...there're a lot more such great games out there...
if you have completed all from the above i can upload some more :)
I found this katapult game quite addictive:

Actually, 'click to activate' was about to become the standard in IE thanks to MS losing a courtbattle with eolas, which has a patent for automatically running browser plugins... but appeals have been filed again, and the final results aren't in yet.
If eolas wins, expect pretty much any plugin in IE to require a click before activation, since they said they weren't going to be paying the bazillion dollar licensing fee that eolas demanded of them.
which has a patent for automatically running browser plugins...
Yet another retarded patent to add to the book of retarded patents....

I'm still stuck in the room (unable to open the door).
Another one -

Jim, the empty wall is the key.
Hmm, I can't seem to do anything with that wall. :/
Did you find all the parts for the box? Once you get the box working you'll get a video playing on that wall. there's a hint in the video.
Not going to say more unless you ask. Took me forever :-)
Well, I've found a tape and one battery. I'm guessing there's another battery somewhere.
/me goes off to look harder
/edit: ah well...im too slow
the other battery is somewhere around the bed ;)
I got the one from the bed. Where the hell is the other one?
Arggg! Let me out of this damn room! :P

Right, Look underneith the pillow, behind the matress. There's a metal stick there. Also, repeatedly open and close the curtain.
I'm on IRC now if you want :)
...and I'm out!
Cheers, Cyg. ;)
[edit] Just realized - the CD case has no use what-so-ever. Pesky red herrings. :P
Yeah, i know. I seem to remember the paper with the web address being inside it though?

I've got the projector running, gained access to the safe, but now need the 4-digit code(?)
More games:
*
GridLock*
Lightning Pool*
Mini Putt
I think I'll try that tomorrow. I'm still feeling claustrophobic! :P
Yeah, read about War Bears in EDGE - still not tried it, though.
Where's the battery? It's the only thing I'm missing :(
Jim, the website to get the code from is on the piece of paper.
Open a new browser to do it though!
It's down the side of the bed. When facing the blank wall, you have to click in just the right place to find it.
Cheers big10p .. the combination from the other website doesn't work? This is doing my nut right it!!
One of those "Just one more go!" games ...
