Nah, what you want to do is a Dungeon Keeper remake - well, visually make it more like Dungeon Keeper 2.
Right, off you go.
Wasn't it you who posted the awesome shots of that Vectrex game remake? I would love to see that finished.
they look great. I don't want to help though ... too busy, soz.
Yeah guilty as charged :)

Anyway, I'm wondering if I can still help you with BH ... somehow. How did the proof of concept go?
Ah, yes, those beautiful shots are the ones I was talking about. Really captuers the look of the original.
I wouldn't finish any of those, but do something new and original-ish instead, unless you don't mind releasing them for free.
BH POC is still in progress :) One thing I learnt though is that it's gonna be addictive as hell!
Nice one "Beaker" - right, Dungeon Keeper remake it is.
Indie: cool, well send it to me and we can refine the plan some more if you like...
Aye aye cap'in
uh I am away until sunday evening though...
so am i :)
off topic: anywhere nice?
Actually I've no intention of finishing any of these games and they are securely files away under "Dropped Projects". If anyone would like the source code and media then let me know and I'll be only too happy to send it.
The Sentinel looks great! Too bad I'm not into 3d games anymore (programming them, that is) 'cos I always wanted to re-make it someday.
Yeah the sentinel thing was more in a lesson about mesh creation and algorithmically generated landscapes. Works kinda well.
I wanted to do it like that as well. I had most of the terrain generation already done (mid 2002) I just lost interest in 3d programming, really.
