i've downloaded the bmax demo and befor i installed it
i uninstalled the previous demo of it.
i then installed the new demo and still only get 6 days left to use it..

Yep, that's how it works or else you could keep downloading it.
Are you going to write a tutorial on it? If not, then you're in the wrong forum.

Not to be rude, but that is why it is called a Demo.

Are you referring to this bit from the MaxGUI demo description, grimx (and are you using the MaxGUI demo)?

"* The latest demo of BlitzMax includes a fully functional version of the MaxGUI module. If you have already tried an earlier BlitzMax demo and it has expired, don't panic! The latest demo will give you another 30 days trial usage."

If so, I wonder how the new demo handles the old one still having a few days left in it (since the description above only mentions it not caring if the earlier demo has expired).
