Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/BitFeeder requests your RSS Feeds.

Bit Feeder is a FREE online service dedicated to the aggregation, compilation and delivery of content specific to the video game industry. We carry a broad selection of high quality news sources and also provide headlines from blog sites, forums, and portals. Our basic feed services such as the BitFeederBar and Content on Demand are FREE.

I'm on the hunt for additional content, Bit Feeder want's your feeds. If you've a blog, a forum, a news site or a games site with a RSS or ATOM feed please let us know. The more content we have the more we can offer.

BitFeeder is not a blog or a information portal, we do not publish any feed content on the site. We make topical and relevant content available to you so that you may build your own sites.

This is WIP and as such I welcome comments and suggestions on how to improve the site.

The site: http://www.bitfeeder.com (please make feed suggestions via the site)

PS. Notice I said FREE twice (*ouch*) in the first paragraph!

I like it. There's a really odd mix of news, self promotion and trainers going on there... =] I take it other sites can customise the sorts of content they want featured?

I also think it would be nice to have a Browse button of sorts on either side of the ad... sometimes waiting thru a scrolling list is annoying. I usually try and wait until they start repeating but I couldn't be bothered just then =]

@Toby, yeah you get to customise the feeds.

Not quite sure what you mean here?

What's your standing on del.icio.us feeds? Every time I see an article on games that I find interesting I post it here.

Or I guess you could have one feed for anything that anyone posts to their del.icio.us account with the tag "games", like this.

@teamonkey, yeah I'll add it. Can you go through the process on the site as it's how I'm keeping track of feeds vs owners.

Thanks

Tim.

Not quite sure what you mean here?

Sorry. I mean it would be nice to have a small button on either the right or left side of the feeder, that when clicked on, brings one to a page (possibly in a new window would be convenient) that contains a list of all the items that would normally scroll through the feeder, so one can just have a quick browse for anything that takes their fancy and click to view it, instead of spending time watching a scrolling list of items in the feeder.

Oh you mean like the two white buttons that are already there but you can't see too well :)

I'll change the color..

Oh now I see you have arrows there, but it would still be easier to be able to see the list of items on one page without having to click to scroll through them all =]

@Toby, the bar is just to highlight stuff. If you look at www.prtoday.net you can see the stuff in action, all the content is dynamic and supplied by BitFeeder.
